G9 租税教室開催 / G9 Special Lecture about taxes

12月4日、税理士や税務署の方々による租税教室が開催され、9年生が参加しました。

講義は全て英語で行われ、公平な課税および分配に関する内容を中心に扱いました。

生徒は熱心に講義を聴き、メモを取っている様子も見られました。また、負担の公平性を考える場面では、周囲の生徒と話し合って考えを導き出そうとしていました。質疑応答の場面では、生徒が課税の公平性に関する鋭い質問をあげ、理解を深めようとしていました。

講義に先立ち、課税についての授業を公民の授業で行いました。授業では、探求の問いに基づいて、税制・財政の公平性について自身の意見を述べる活動を中心に行ってきました。

実際に税に携わる方々からお話をしていただくことで、学習した内容を深める大変良い機会となりました。

Personnel from the tax office and tax advisors had a tax lecture for all grade 9 students on December 4.

The main topic of the lecture was fairness in taxation and tax distribution.

Students listened to the lecture hard and took notes. Each student actively participated in a discussion based quiz to consider a fair burden in a given situation. In the Q & A session, students asked keen questions for better understanding.

Prior to the lecture, students learned about taxes in JSS class. In the lessons, based on statement of inquiry, students often worked on activities to state their own opinions about fairness in the tax system and fiscal policy.

Having had experts to the lecture, it was a meaningful opportunity to learn more about taxes, and to enhance their awareness of fairness.
