＜5年生 算数：自分の歩幅の平均値を出す　　5th Grade Math: Getting the average of the lengths of steps＞

5年生は、平均値を求めるという学習のために、算数の授業を屋外で行いました。
授業では、それぞれの子どもが、自分が歩く時の歩幅を実際に計測しました。
計測の後に、自分の10歩がどのくらいの長さになるのかを計算し、その情報を文章問題を解くために活用することができました。
子ども達は、楽しみながら、野外で自分の歩幅を測る活動に取り組むことができました。

To learn more about the use of getting the average of numbers, the 5th graders had their Math classes outside the classroom.
Each student made a few trials measuring the lengths of their steps. After gathering data, they solved for the average of their 10 steps and used the information in solving word problems.
The students had fun while working with numbers!
