中高等部におけるノートパソコンの使用例 / Example of the use of students’ laptops

本校、ぐんま国際アカデミー中高等部では、「G suite for education」を導入しており、生徒たちはひとりずつ、Googleのアカウントが割り振られています。一部の教科では、インターネット上で連絡やプリントの提出等が行われています。

現在は学校のパソコンを利用していますが、来年度以降は、1人1台のノートパソコンを順次導入していく予定です。

「実際にどんな風にノートパソコンが使われているの？」

という疑問にお答えするため、実例の１つをご紹介したいと思います。

例として、中学2年生向けに行った社会科の授業を紹介します。公民分野で「グローバル化」を扱った授業です。「Googleスライド」（Google版のPower Pointのようなソフト）を使い、１つのスライドファイルを、生徒全員が同時に編集できる状態にしておきます。 生徒は自分のページに自分の考えを記入していきます。 すると生徒達は、手元のノートパソコンでクラスメート全員が今何を書いているのかをリアルタイムに見て、参考にすることができます。自分と異なる意見を書いているクラスメートに直接聞きに行ったり、書くのに困っている生徒を見つけて相談しに行くきっかけも生まれます。 また、スクリーンに生徒の画面を投影しておけば、ノートを回収せずともその場で教員がコメントを加えたりすることもできます。

・一人一人に発表させなくても、クラスメート全員の意見が知れるため、授業時間を有効に活用できる。また、後からその意見を見返せる。
・紙を配布する必要も回収する必要も無い
・生徒全員が、生徒全員の記入内容をリアルタイムで見られる
・失くさないのでいつでも復習できる
・プリント手書きより文章入力が速い(さすがデジタルネイティブ世代)
・後から改変されない
などの点で、多くのメリットがあります。

デジタルネイティブ世代は、情報モラル不足の脆弱な面ばかりが注目されますが、新世代の学習ができる優秀な世代だと改めて気づかされます。変化の激しいこの時代、ICT教育は「未来」の教育ではなくなりつつあります。

GKA has installed “G suite for education”and each student has a user account. They can communicate with teachers and submit assignments through the accounts.

Today, we would like to introduce a lesson using laptops, “globalization” for the 8th grade students. The topic was about “Compare and analyze the [Kyoto Protocol] and the [Paris Convention] from the aspects of efficiency and equity”. In this lesson, the students wrote their answers on their own slide pages in Google Slides. And the teacher showed their slides on a screen with a projector. Here’s are some advantages of using Google Slides.

・ No need to distribute or collect paper.
・ All students can see the contents from all students at the moment.
・ All students can review what they studied any time and never lose it.
・ Their typing is faster than their handwriting (Digital native generation!)
・It can prevent students from altering.

The children born in the digital native generation are often focused on the weak sides, such as lack of information ethics, however we should more focus the good sides of this new generations. ICT education is no longer a “future” education.
