Grade 5: NHK Media Experience

第5学年：NHK様によるメディアについての特別授業

2月14日（金）、NHK前橋放送局の方々がGKAの5年生児童を対象に講演を行いました。

児童たちは、大人になった時にメディア分野で就くことができる職業について学びました。また、メディアリテラシーについて学び、偏った視点を示すように編集されたニュースの見分け方を学びました。最後に、NHKで使われているカメラやその他の機材を操作する体験もさせていただきました。

子どもたちは、機材を間近で見たり、メディアで働くプロの人たちに質問したりすることができ、貴重な体験となりました。

On Friday, February 14th, employees of the NHK regional office in Gunma came to speak to GKA Grade 5 students.  Students were able to learn about the many media careers that are available to them when they become adults.  They received a lesson in media literacy, and learned how to identify news that has been edited to show a biased point of view.  Finally, they had a chance to experience operating the cameras and other equipment used by NHK.  It was a valuable lesson, and the students enjoyed the opportunity to see the equipment up close and ask questions to the professional media employees.
