Grade 2: Excursion

第２学年：遠足

２年生たちは、群馬サファリパークへ遠足に行きました。朝、学校からバスに乗ってサファリパークまで向かいました。到着後、ウォーキングサファリゾーンにて、動物たちを間近に見ました。餌やりや動物園の獣医さんへの質問など、たくさんの経験を楽しむことができました。獣医さんは、２年生たちから出された多くの質問に優しく答えてくれただけでなく、１匹の動物の健康観察の様子を説明しながら実践してくれました。昼食はピクニックのように外で食べ、近くの公園で自由時間を過ごし、学校へと戻ってきました。疲れている様子も見えましたが、とても充実した一日を過ごせたように思います。

Grade 2: Excursion

The Grade 2 students took a trip to Gunma Safari Park. They rode the bus from GKA in the morning, and then took a tour of the Safari Park by bus. After that, students could get off the bus and see the animals face-to-face in the Walking Safari Zone. Students enjoyed a variety of experiences, including feeding animals, and speaking with a member of the zoo’s veterinary staff. She kindly answered many questions from the 2nd graders, and explained a medical procedure as she performed it on one of the animals. Students enjoyed a picnic lunch outdoors, and then had some free play time at a nearby park before returning to GKA in the afternoon. Students were tired, but happy by the end of their trip.
