Grade 5&6: Minecraft Cup Contest Team

GKA初等部生は、3 年連続で Minecraft Cup と呼ばれる全国大会に参加します。詳細については、コンテストの Web サイト（ minecraftcup.com ）をご覧ください。

今週の水曜日、GKA Minecraft Cup 大会参加者のメンバーがミーティングを行いました。5年生と 6年生が協力して、Minecraftの世界で大きな都市を作成しています。今年の大会テーマは、「Well-beingをデザインしよう」です。そのため、都市には市民の幸せと安全を保つために、クリーンエネルギー、豊富な緑地、質の高い都市サービスが必要となります！

これらの写真は、チームメンバーが紙面に計画を完成させている様子です。8月31日までの期間、彼らは Minecraft 内に、自分たちの都市を作っていきます。夏休みが近づいてくると、締め切りに間に合わせるのは難しくなってきます。締め切りが近づくと、進捗状況を報告する予定となっています。Minecraft カップ大会参加チームの皆さん、がんばってください！

For the third year in a row, GKA Elementary School students are participating in a national competition called Minecraft Cup. More information is available at the contest website, minecraftcup.com.

This Wednesday, the members of the GKA Minecraft Cup contest team had a meeting. Students in Grades 5 and 6 are working together to create a large city using the Minecraft software. The theme of the contest this year is “Design Your Well-being”, so the city must have clean energy, plenty of green spaces, and high quality city services to keep the citizens happy and safe.

These pictures show the team members finishing their plans on paper. Between now and August 31st they will build their city inside of Minecraft. It will be hard to meet their deadline, especially with summer vacation coming soon. They will give us an update on their progress as they approach the deadline. Good luck, Minecraft Cup contest team!
