4年生は東毛キャンプ・G4 Tomo Camp

11月末、4年生は東毛青少年自然の家で1泊2日の宿泊学習を行いました。児童たちは家から離れて一晩過ごすことに少し不安を感じていましたが、クラスメートと一緒に一泊することをとても楽しみにしていました。初日は、子どもたちは英語を使ってオリエンテーリングやチームビルディング活動に取り組みました。それぞれスプーンを作り、岩場遊びを楽しみました。夜はキャンドルファイヤーの周りで歌を歌い、友達と一緒にお風呂に入ったり、同じ部屋で寝たりすることを楽しみました。 2日目は、児童たちが協力して、昼食用のうどんを粉をこねるところから作りました。多くの子どもたちが、「今まで食べたうどんの中で一番美味しかった。」と喜んでいました。これらの経験は、子どもたちが責任感と自立心を育むのに役立ち、また素晴らしい思い出を与えてもくれました。

At the end of November Grade 4 spent two days and one night at the Tomo Youth Nature Center. Students were a little anxious to spend the night away from home, but they were excited to go to camp with their friends. On the first day of the camp, students worked together in English for orienteering and team building activities. They each made their own spoon and enjoyed rock climbing. At night they sang songs around the candlefire and enjoyed bathing and sleeping with friends. On the second day, the students worked together to make udon from scratch for lunch. Many students said it was the best udon they have ever eaten. The camp experience helped strengthen students’ responsibility and independence, while also making wonderful memories together.
