プレMYP発表会・Pre-MYP Presentation

中高等部生が、初等部の希望者に、「中等部から始まるMYPの学習を体験してもらおう」ということで始まった「プレMYP」という活動があります。

中高等部生が、放課後に初等部を訪問し、初等部生をサポートしながら9月から学習してきました。先日そのまとめの発表会が保護者に対して行われました。

今回中心となって初等部生の面倒をみてくれた生徒たちには、自分たちが6年生の時にこのプログラムに参加した子たちがたくさんいました。一貫校の良いループが生まれていますので、紹介しました。

There is an activity called “Pre-MYP” that was started by GKA Secondary School students to give applicants from the Elementary School a chance to experience the MYP-like study that begins in the secondary school.

Since September, the secondary school students have been visiting the elementary school after school to support the elementary students in their studies. The other day, a presentation was given to the parents to summarize the results of the program.

Many of the students who took the lead in taking care of the elementary students this time were students who participated in this program when they were in the 6th grade. We decided to introduce the story because we think it is one of the good loops of a 12-year integrated school.
