リーディングA to Z・Reading A-Z

GKA初等部では、低学年の子どもたちがリーディングスキルを伸ばすために、リーディングA to Zという学習アプリを使っています。 Reading A to Zでは、一冊読み終えるごとにご褒美のスターを獲得することができます。

今、GKAはLearning A to Z Star Donation Challengeという企画に参加しています。 獲得したスターを寄付(donation)することで、子どもたちは食事やきれいな水、学用品を他の国の貧しい子どもたちに提供することができるのです。 4,000個の星を寄付するごとに、1食分の食事を提供することが可能です。 GKAはすでに何百万もの星を寄付しています。

この取り組みを通じ、子どもたちは英語のスキル向上だけでなく、困っている人々を助けることにもつながります。 素敵な機会ではないでしょうか。

GKA lower elementary school students use an application called Reading A to Z to develop their reading skills.  When the students use the Reading A to Z app they earn reward stars for each book they finish.

Right now, GKA is participating in the Learning A to Z Star Donation Challenge.  By donating their earned stars, students can provide meals, clean water, and school supplies to needy children in other countries.  Every 4000 stars donated represents a meal provided.  GKA has donated millions of stars.

So not only are students improving their English skills, they are also helping people in need.  What a great opportunity!
