二年生：校内の畑で野菜を育てています・ Grade 2 students learn how vegetables grow

2年生の生活科の授業では校内の畑で野菜を育てています。カブ、おくら、大豆、大根、きゅうり、そしてエンドウ豆を育てます。植物が成長するにつれて、子どもたちはその葉を観察し、ノートに記録します。夏には野菜たちが成長し、子どもたちはお家に持ち帰り、実際に食べてもらう予定です。収穫が楽しみですね♪

In Grade 2 Life Science class, we are planting vegetables in one of GKA’s school gardens.  We will grow turnips, okra, soybeans, daikon radishes, cucumbers and green peas.  As the plants grow, students will observe their leaves and sketch them in their life science notebooks.  By summer, the plants will be grown and GKA families can enjoy eating the vegetables that students helped to grow large and healthy.
