5年生：稲の収穫　Grade 5: Harvesting rice

5年生は、６月に田植えをした稲を収穫しました。
石関先生から鎌を使った稲の刈り方を教わりました。
小グループに分かれて、ソーシャル・ディスタンスを保ちながら、稲を刈りました。

切った稲は束にして吊るして乾燥させました。
できたお米は5年生で分けて、自分達の収穫物を楽しみます。

The Grade 5 students harvested the rice, which they planted last June.
Mr. Ishizeki showed the students how to cut the rice plant using a sickle.
In small groups, observing social distancing, the students cut them.
The rice plants were then tied in bundles and hung for drying.
The fifth graders will divide the rice grains among themselves and enjoy the fruit of their labor.
