ワールドスカラ－ズカップ/ World Scholar’s Cup

東京予選を勝ち抜いた17名の生徒が、マレーシアのクアラルンプールで6月18日から23日まで開催されたアジア大会に参加しました。

3名1チームで、一般教養クイズやアカデミックライティング、討論などを38カ国から集まった4079名と競いました。

GKAは合計17個のメダルを獲得し、うち1チームが11月にイェール大学で行われるファイナルへの出場権を得ました。

大会中にはカルチャーフェアも行われ、参加者達がそれぞれ自国の文化を発表するブースを出し、生徒たちは各国から来た生徒たちと交流を楽しみました。

17 GKA students who have qualified at Tokyo Round participated in Kuala Lumpur Global Round  from June 18th to 23rd.

Each team has three members, and they competed scholar’s bowl, collaborative  writing, team debate and so on with 4079 students from 38 different countries.

GKA won 17 medals in total and one team has qualified to Tournament of Champions which is going to take place at Yale university in this November.

Culture fair was also held during the event, students from different countries opened booths and enjoyed cultural exchange.
