Graduates’Procedures for Applying for Various Certificates
The following are procedures for GKA graduates to follow to receive issuance of various certificates.
(Open hours /weekdays 8:15 am to 5pm.)
Persons residing in Japan
- Applying at the GKA office counter
At the GKA office counter, fill in a “Request for Certificate”. At the time of applying you will be charged an issuance handling fee. (It is also possible to download the application form beforehand and bring it to the office.) If you wish to receive the certificate by mail, postage fees will also be charged. (Please enclose stamps to cover postage costs.) (Open hours /weekdays 8:15 am to 5pm.) - Applying by postal mail
Download the application form and fill in the necessary matters, and send it with a photocopy of your identification card, your address for receiving the certificate, and the total amount for certificate fee and stamps to cover postage costs in cash as “registered mail for cash” to the Certificate Section of GKA Secondary School. - Applying through a representative
Please refer to 【How to apply through a representative】and have the representative apply at the school office counter or by postal mail (2 above), sending the necessary documents to the Certificate Section of GKA Secondary School.
※It will take 2-4 working days for certificates to be issued. Please note that certificates will not be issued on the day of application, even if the applicant comes to the office.
※For postage, please refer to 【Guide for postage】.
※Driver’s license, Health Insurance Card, passport, etc., are items you can use for identification.

- Date of filling the Letter of Attorney
- The content for which power of attorney is being granted

Persons residing outside of Japan
Applications from abroad are feasible provided that Japanese postage stamps, International Reply Coupon, or International Postal Order is used. In case none of these 3 items can be used, application can be made through a representative.

※Please send payment in amount equivalent to that in Japanese Yen. (In Japan, one International Reply Coupon can be exchanged for one ¥130 stamp.)

【Protection of personal information】
From the standpoint of protecting personal information, we confirm the identity of the person applying for certificate issuance is the subject of the certificate and whether the application is made according to the will of the subject her/himself. As identification documents, please present your driver’s license, health insurance card, passport, and such.
Photocopies of documents submitted for personal identification will be used for certification issuance purposes only, and will be processed in appropriate manner after certificate issuance.
